Today I am writing about addiction. Addiction of anything is bad. Some people think that category of addiction is limited with alcohol, smoking , drugs or lottery only. No it is not right. Excess of any habit is an addiction. It can be as small as Tea or as big as alcohol. Addiction is always harmful. What causes addiction? When you are accepting a thing by your mind and heart and start believing that, this thing is giving you some sort of relief, you become addicted to that particular thing. It can be as sweet as Pepsi or can be as bitter as beer, but you know whatever it is you are truly enjoying it :) But let me ask you a question
IS YOUR BODY ENJOYING IT? ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM YOUR BODY ?
THEN WHO ARE YOU? WHO IS ENJOYING ?I know it is complicated.But it can be simple if you are willing to simplify it. We learn things and we are learning from the day we were born. We are learning from people around us. We are learning from media and society. We are learning from many things on daily basis even without our knowledge. Some are very good and some are bad. So sometimes we just get addiction by watching others or by watching on media, and believe wow how cool it is. It seems macho if a boy is flaring the white smoke in air through mouth. Because whatever is visible is white smoke in the air and a solid boy . But whatever is happening inside of the lungs of this boy is not visible and we mostly trust on things which are visible to us. We never try to see what's behind. So it becomes an addiction slowly. Same with Pepsi if you are addict to it and you are drinking even 200 ml of Pepsi daily then you are at the risk of bone problems, yes you are. If you are addict to tea you can build enough acid to give you acne, brittle hair and nails , yellow teeth etc. We are very powerful to make a change but we are so addict to our addictions that we believe that these things are giving us power to move on. This is a false perception. Ok just imagine that you are hungry from last 15 days and now in front of you is food and alcohol definitely you will put some food in your mouth first. Which shows that we are getting power from food not from alcohol. This is same with all types of addictions. We believe we are getting power from them but no. We are getting weaker because of them. Leaving is not impossible it's just little difficult. If we think lets not take it from tomorrow then it will never leave us. But day by day we can do. Kids and youngsters are addict of iphone ipad tab etc. Mostly they are consuming their mind energy for nothing. They are wasting their time. I am not saying don't play with gadgets do it with time limit ,before playing a game set a timer for 30 min then play and promise yourself that you will do something productive after this play and keep your promise . Leave your addiction step by step. 1 Be sure you want to leave for yourself not for anyone else.2 Don't stop it at once .3 Try to take a little less.4 Ask your near once to encourage you.5 Write a date when you complete it, on a paper and stick it where you brush your teeth in morning .6 When you reach almost half of the way ask yourself what benefits you are getting, write them near the same goal.7 Ask near once what benefits they are getting.8 Ask your partner to participate more to encourage you.Good luck Written by MANN
